Challenging Tokenization

Based on the findings of our research conducted in 2021-2022, we are creating a toolkit that will demonstrate the experience of young people in decision-making and civic spaces, while also identifying recommendations to avoid further tokenization, ensuring meaningful youth engagement in Canada and globally.

Women, Peace and Security

We strategically leverage Canada’s long-standing commitments to Women, Peace, and Security to advance YPS priorities in both domestic and foreign policy. This approach, adopted by CCYPS’s founding members, has led to significant historic successes.

Thematic intersections with the Youth, Peace and Security resolutions is important. Our members have decided to highlight 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences in peace and security matters as a priority for our Coalition.

Canadian Forum on the Road to Doha
